What is The National Cyber and Fraud Protect Team?
We support national organisations by providing guidance, awareness and direct engagement on cyber crime and fraud prevention and reporting. We connect organisations with the most appropriate policing services, resources, and specialist teams to strengthen resilience against cyber crime and fraud.
We can support your organisation by delivering national presentations on:

Reporting
Businesses can report cyber crime and fraud through Report Fraud, the UK’s national reporting centre. Reporting incidents helps law enforcement identify patterns, disrupt criminal activity and support investigations.

The Protect Network - Find your local Regional Organised Crime Unit
Regional Organised Crime Units, or ROCUs for short, are trusted partners of the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) that form the Cyber & Fraud PROTECT Network.
There are ten ROCUs across England and Wales that have a range of specialist policing capabilities, and this includes a dedicated cyber security team that works with businesses, organisations, and communities to promote the steps that we think will reduce the chances of becoming a victim of cyber crime.
Their direct link to the NCSC puts them in an ideal position to act as a first point of contact for those that wish to raise their awareness of the cyber threat and improve their defences against attacks.
